Firmenmantel verlagert 1960 nach Frankfurt a.M., 1965 Verschmelzung der Ihagee-Exakta Photo AG auf die Ihagee Kamerawerk AG, Berlin. 1976 in Berlin (West) von Amts wegen gelöscht. In der DDR Bestellung 1951 der Optik VEB zum Treuhänder der Dresdner Ihagee AG i.V. in das Kombinat VEB Pentacon. Die heutige Pentacon GmbH wurde 1997 gegründet und ist aus dem VEB Pentacon Dresden hervorgegangen (bekannteste Marke: Practica). Gehört heute zu Jos.
