Jh. mit dem Ende des Fahrrad-Booms gingen viele Hersteller unter, doch Calcott überlebte, baute ab 1904 auch Motorräder und widmete sich ab 1913 ganz dem Automobilbau. Der beengte Platz einer früheren Fahrradfabrik begrenzte die Produktionsmöglichkeiten auf wöchentlich 55 Autos. Das war auf die Dauer zum Sterben zu viel und zum Leben zu wenig.
