Bereits 1904 wurde die kanadische Ford-Tochter gegründet. Sie hatte exclusive Herstellungs- und Vertriebsrechte im gesamten britischen Empire mit Ausnahme von England, Irland und Schottland. Ihre Aktivitäten erstreckten sich folglich über Kanada hinaus auch auf Neuseeland, Australien, Indien und Südafrika. Die Jahresproduktion erreichte 1924 mit fast 80.000 Autos einen vorläufigen Höchststand. Die Aktien notierten in New York, Toronto und Detroit. Die belgische Ford-Tochter wurde 1922 gegründet. Heute ist das belgische Werk in Gent der deutschen Ford-Werke AG in Köln zugeordnet. Gründung der schwedischen Ford-Tochter 1924 durch Edsel Bryant Ford. Edsel B. Ford war von 1919 bis 1943 Präsident der Ford Motor Co., Detroit, Michigan.
