Der Verein betrieb ein Versammlungs- und Gesellschaftshaus mit Restaurationsbetrieb und angeschlossenem Weingeschäft. In den Sälen fanden bis zu 1.500 Personen Platz. 1944 wurden fast alle Gebäude bei Bombenangriffen zerstört, 1945 beschlagnahmte die französische Besatzung alle Weinbestände (Lagerkeller für etwa 1,3 Mio. l Wein und 250.000 Flaschen). 1948/49 Neubau eines Saales für 500 Personen. 1952 Gründung der St. Petrus Weinkellerei GmbH. 1955 Bau einer Perlwein- und Sektanlage. 1959 Neubau eines Hotels mit zuletzt 140 Betten.
