Ab 1900 Firmenname Metall-Industrie Schönebeck AG. Eine der größten deutschen Fahrrad-Fabriken, die die Fahrrädermarke Original Weltrad produzierte. Es war wohl das erste Werk, das die autogene Schweißung in größtem Maßstab anfing. Seit 1929/30 auch Fabrikation von Kinderwagen und Sportgeräten. 1936-1945 in die Rüstungsproduktion eingebunden, u.a. wurden Maschinengewehrteile und -lafetten gebaut. Nach dem 2.
