Dessen Sohn, Josef Braun, verlegte 1873 die Fabrik nach Mombach bei Mainz, 1881 von da nach Pfeddersheim bei Worms, wo eine Malzfabrik erworben wurde. 1943 bestanden Werke in Pfeddersheim und Volkach (Main).
