Tatsächlich gab es aber sogar zwei Gesellschaften, die allerdings vornehmlich Güterverkehr betrieben: Die 5 Meilen lange Military Post Street Ry. sowie ihre Mehrheitsaktionärin, die Burlington Traction Co. mit 12 Meilen Streckenlänge (gegründet 1885 als Winooski & Burlington Horse RR).
