place: | Stuttgart | | Picture: |  | | Info: | Gründung 1868. Die Stuttgarter Fabrik wurde 1914 abgebrochen und das Fabrikgelände an die Stadt Stuttgart verkauft. In Münster-Cannstadt wurde eine neue Rohzuckerfabrik mit Raffinerie errichtet, die seit Okt. 1904 in Betrieb war. Diese brannte 1906 vollständig ab, ab Frühjahr 1907 war sie wieder betriebsbereit. Außerdem wurden in diesem Jahr Rübenanbauflächen von diversen Gemeinden erworben, u.a. Leonberg, Möhringen, Bondorf. Im Gegensatz zu den Gegebenheiten in Norddeutschland war diese Gesellschaft keine sog. "Bauern-Zuckerfabrik", sondern eine börsennotierte AG. Seit 1926 nach Zusammenschluß mit den Zuckerfabriken in Offstein, Frankenthal, Heilbronn und Waghäusel die heutige Süddeutsche Zucker-AG. | | Availability: | R 11 | | Condition: | Kpl. Kuponbogen.
