Hintergrund der Umwandlung in eine AG im Jahr 1931 war das Vergleichsverfahren über das Vermögen des Bierbrauereibesitzers Hermann Wiener und dessen Firma. Seine Aktien gingen dann auch direkt an ein Banksyndikat.
