place: | Amsterdam | | Picture: |  | | Info: | Der Dawes-Plan von 1924, der die Finanzen des durch Reparationen schwer belasteten Deutschlands auf sicheren Boden stellen sollte, scheiterte in der Weltwirtschaftskrise endgültig. 1930 wurde deshalb zur erneuten Stabilisierung die nach dem amerkianischen Finanz-Staatssekretär benannte “Young-Anleihe” aufgelegt und zwar in Tranchen mit den Währungen der USA, Englands, Frankreichs, Belgiens, Hollands, der Schweiz, Italiens, Schwedens und Deutschlands. Die technische Abwicklung der hiermit zusammenhängenden Transfers war übrigens der unmittelbare Anlass zur Gründung der Bank für Internationalen Zahlungsausgleich (BIZ) in Basel. | | Availability: | Aus dem De Bussy-Archiv, äußerst selten.
