Sie verfügte über eine 13,8 km lange meterspurige Strecke zwischen den Ortschaften Biasca und Acquarossa im Bleniotal. 1906 gegründet um das Bleniotal mit der bestehenden SBB-Linie über den Gotthard zu verknüpfen. Am 6. Juli 1911 wurde die Bahnlinie eröffnet. Pläne, die Strecke bis nach Olivone zu verlängern, zerschlugen sich. 1973 wurde der Bahnbetrieb eingestellt, die Gleisanlagen abgebrochen.
