Diese Luftschiffe wurden einerseits zum Lastentransport eingesetzt, andererseits auch bei militärischen Operationen wie z.B. der U-Boot-Bekämpfung. Auch die U.S. Army interessierte sich für VACO-Luftschiffe und orderte einige Prototypen.
