Entstanden durch Übernahme des 1884 gegründeten Pferdebahnbetriebes "AG Casseler Stadteisenbahn" und der "Casseler Straßenbahn-Gesellschaft", letztere hatte 1877 mit der Strecke Königsplatz-Schloss Wilhelmshöhe die erste Dampfstraßenbahn Deutschlands eröffnet. 1927 Übernahme der Herkulesbahn von der Stadt Kassel. Damit kam das Streckennetz auf 13 Linien mit 36 km Gesamtlänge. 1928 Gründung der "Kasseler Omnibus-Gesellschaft mbH", 1935 Beteiligung an der Gründung der "Kur- und Badehaus Wilhelmshöhe GmbH". 1939 Umfirmierung in "Kasseler Verkehrs-Gesellschaft". 1946 vom Land Hessen enteignet, heute sind die Kasseler Verkehrs- und Versorgungs-GmbH und die Stadt Kassel Alleinaktionäre. | | Specials: | Sehr dekorative Ornament-Umrahmung mit Vignetten. | | Availability: | Ohne Lochentwertung.
